Position Summary
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. 100% on-site in San Diego. Catalent, Inc. is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) providing comprehensive clinical supply services.
- Use JDE/MES or applicable systems to pick, pack, verify, and process shipments (small parcel and bulk orders) under ambient, refrigerated, and frozen conditions (including ‑80°C).
- Perform order verification at pack‑out, including final verification, labeling, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Receive incoming materials, verify against documentation, and accurately enter receipts into inventory systems and logs.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for packaging and shipment in accordance with order requirements and SOPs.
- Execute packing activities in compliance with defined packaging configurations, temperature requirements, and handling procedures.
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy through routine counting, reconciliation, and discrepancy identification.
- Support warehouse location management, including consolidation and re‑organization of inventory to optimize storage capacity and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready warehouse in accordance with 6S standards, including routine sweeping, cleaning, and organization of work areas.
- Support material movement activities using appropriate equipment and systems with adherence to safety and GMP requirements.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment as trained (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, lifts) in accordance with site safety policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing, distribution, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry preferred.
- Experience in a GMP‑related industry highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
ability to walk, sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist height, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear, smell, and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to stand on feet for hours at a time.
The anticipated salary range for this role in California is $50,000 – $54,000. Final salary will depend on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
