Wondfo is a leading global company in the Point of Care industry, dedicated to improving quality of life and human health through the development and enhancement of in vitro diagnostic tests. At Wondfo USA’s San Diego site, you will contribute to the production of diagnostic tests for the healthcare market. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our growing R&D and Operations teams in this exciting, expanding role.
ResponsibilitiesReceiving
- Receive, inspect, and verify all shipments for accuracy against the associated packing list. Maintain proper documentation for all received shipments.
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and notify the supervisor immediately.
- Quarantine raw material deliveries for QC inspection before adding them to the warehouse inventory.
- Process work orders by collecting raw materials from warehouse inventory according to specifications and delivering them to Manufacturing.
- Receive materials from Packaging and inventory them as finished goods.
- Update inventory to reflect any leftover materials from production, as well as any additional materials required to complete lot production.
- Process customer orders by facilitating the delivery of products to consumers.
- Pull goods from warehouse inventory and place them in the shipping/delivery area.
- Ensure items are safely and securely packed with associated documentation (if any) and correct shipping labels.
- Prepare all shipments for pick-up at the end of the day (EOD) or at the designated pick-up time.
- Assist other departments with shipping needs as required.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Document any materials pulled from inventory.
- Perform routine warehouse cleaning duties as noted on the cleaning log.
- Conduct regular upkeep and inspections of all warehouse equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in general facility upkeep as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments when necessary.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Forklift experience and prior certification (required).
- 1-2 years of previous warehouse or general labor experience (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted.
- Strong time management skills and adaptability.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
- Team-oriented attitude with effective communication skills (ability to interface with management and staff to ensure key objectives are understood and executed).
- Knowledge of operating a manual/electric pallet jack (preferred but not required).
- Experience using logistics software and inventory management systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
