Inventory Control Associate
Pride Staff San Diego is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Associate to support inventory accuracy, customer order fulfillment, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This role combines inventory management, administrative support, and customer service responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control & Accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels to support customer orders and prevent shortages or overstock
- Inspect incoming work orders and materials to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Track and investigate inventory discrepancies, including shortages, damages, and backorders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams on incoming product and delivery timelines
Customer & Order Support
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding product availability, lead times, and order status
- Communicate proactively with production and sales teams regarding delays or inventory constraints
- Assist with order entry, updates, and follow-ups as needed
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work cross-functionally with logistics, warehouse, sales, and production teams
- Support workflow coordination to align inventory with customer demand
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and service level expectations
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or administrative support preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable communicating with multiple departments and stakeholders
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, order entry, or ERP systems preferred)

Work Environment & Requirements• Warehouse and production environment
• Dress Code:
Shorts or pants, t-shirt, high-visibility vest
• Required PPE:
Safety shoes and high-visibility vest
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks as needed
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $21.00
