Shipping Associate

Duration: Approximately 2 months, with a possibility of extension

Position Summary

Bio Phase is seeking a Shipping Associate to support shipping and warehouse operations for a life science company in San Diego. This position will assist with preparing customer orders for shipment, receiving and organizing inventory, and maintaining an accurate and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Prepare pallets, including stacking, strapping, shrink-wrapping, and labeling
• Load and unload materials and assist with product transfers
• Receive, label, organize, and store incoming products
• Perform basic inventory and shipping transactions in SAP
• Complete inventory cycle counts and product putaways
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and quality requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience required
• Experience in a regulated environment preferred
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
