Director Of Undergraduate Admission
The Director of Undergraduate Admission is a key campus leader managing all aspects of undergraduate recruitment, admission, and yield to achieve university goals. This role is responsible for building and executing a data-informed, mission-aligned enrollment strategy that attracts, enrolls, and supports traditional undergraduate students who will thrive academically, spiritually, and relationally within a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled university community.
The Director effectively leads a team of admissions professionals, collaborates across the San Dimas campus and effectively communicates our Christ Centered, Spirit filled mission and ethos internally and externally. This includes engagement with schools, churches, families, and partner meetings throughout Southern California and beyond to achieve undergraduate admissions targets.
Essential DutiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leadership- Collaborate with VPEM to develop and execute a comprehensive undergraduate enrollment strategy aligned with institutional mission, vision, and enrollment goals.
- Analyze enrollment data, trends, and market conditions to inform recruitment planning, territory management, and yield strategies.
- Partner with Marketing, Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Life, and Academic Leadership to ensure a seamless enrollment experience.
- Provide daily team accountability daily calls, apps, admits, deposits to achieve goals.
- Support institutional goals related to access, retention, and student success.
- Mobilize a team of counselors and student ambassadors
- Participates in ERSS and Scholarship committees
- Lead undergraduate recruitment efforts including high school visits, church partnerships, college fairs, campus events, and virtual engagement.
- Meet own roster targets for admissions and residence hall occupancy
- Cultivate relationships with high school counselors, youth pastors, transfer schools, dual enrollment schools, ministry leaders, and community partners.
- Increase campus visits for families and prospective students
- Oversee recruitment travel planning and territory assignments, with particular attention to Southern California and west coast pipelines.
- Plan and Host visit days and or bi-annual preview days and yield events.
- Champion parent and family engagement throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with VP in overseeing application review, admissions decisions, communications flow, and yield initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and ethical recruitment practices.
- Collaborate closely with Financial Aid to support transparent, student-centered aid communication.
- Utilize CRM and enrollment systems effectively to track performance and improve outcomes.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate admissions counselors and support staff.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and pastoral care within the admissions team.
- Provide ongoing professional development and performance feedback.
- Model Christ-centered leadership, integrity, and relational excellence.
- Participate in CCCU, ABHE and SCCCU admissions events, trainings, and conferences
- Articulate and model the University's Christian mission, faith commitments, and community expectations.
- Support students and families in discerning institutional fit spiritually, academically, and culturally.
- Partner with Campus Ministries and Student Life to communicate the University's spiritual formation pathway.
- Represent the University with enthusiasm, wisdom and clarity in a diverse and evolving cultural context.
NOTE:
Though not required, this position is optionally eligible for appointment as a Foursquare minister under certain conditions. If appointed as a minister, the employee will be available to provide pastoral care and prayer. In addition, s/he may be called upon to perform sacerdotal duties upon request of the University.
