Position SummaryThe Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing the mechanical design, technical support, and hands‑on product development for a variety of custom-engineered pressure vessels and related equipment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills who can successfully manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring each meets quality, and timeline goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop mechanical system designs and present solutions to internal teams and external customers based on engineering principles and project requirements.
- Lead and support multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to support product development and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Assist the Sales team in technical concept development, proposal preparation.
- Analyze client specifications and translate them into practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Prepare and deliver detailed engineering documentation including reports, calculations, drawings, and presentations.
- Perform hands‑on inspection of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant documentation requirements, including proper material segregation, MTR traceability, and quality control protocols.
- Assemble and test products in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring consistent quality and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–7 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role involving pressure vessels or industrial equipment strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience using hand and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); experience with CAD or engineering software is a plus.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
- Highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking capabilities.
