As a registered nurse in the operating room, you'll expand your expertise working alongside skilled surgical teams. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid RN license in the state (required)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintained
• ACLS and PALS certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained
• At least one year of perioperative experience, or completion of on-the-job training
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and pre/post-op care
• Ability and willingness to take call as needed

Schedule/

Hours:

• Travel contract with varied operating room shifts
• Participation in call rotation required

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process in perioperative settings for neonates through older adults
• Coordinate care among surgical team members, including surgeons and anesthesiologists
• Support and direct OR technicians and ancillary staff
• Promote efficient patient flow, adherence to safety protocols, and rigorous documentation
• Participate in unit meetings, in-services, and performance improvement activities
• Act as a resource for colleagues, ensuring high standards of safety and patient care
