ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The RN directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients and communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
The RN must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full‑time or part‑time.
Pay TransparencyThe current compensation range for this role is $39.25 to $56.85 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, taking into account factors such as skillset, years of experience, education, credentials and licensure.
