Position Summary
The Project Engineer has a proven capability for the development and execution of equipment-related capital projects. Projects are led with engagement with manufacturing teams, identifying and developing, executing site tactical and continuous improvement equipment-related projects. The Sr Project Engineer provides technical solutions of business value and can be applied across the Pharmavite manufacturing network. The Project Engineer reports to the Manager, Site Engineering.
This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT.
Responsibilities- Lead the development of the site's tactical capital projects, utilizing Pharmavite’s Project Management Process and other project management best practices.
- Provide equipment support and subject matter expertise, and be the technical representative for larger projects led by project managers.
- Develop the necessary knowledge to be an equipment 'Subject Matter Expert' in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Create, maintain, and provide equipment specifications for equipment during the project development process (defining project specification requirements).
- Develop equipment requirements & design by engaging with a cross-functional team and leveraging lean principles/tools (3P, Value stream mapping, etc.).
- Ensure documentation/protocols are developed for equipment commissioning, FAT & SAT testing.
- Support Qualification, Installation/Operational Qualification, and Product Qualification (I/OQ, PQ) as needed.
- Ensure 'risk forecasting' is undertaken and considered as equipment & technologies are implemented.
- Identify and investigate new technologies that are potentially applicable to Pharmavite’s manufacturing operations.
- Lead the identification and justification of equipment capital projects in the assigned work area for inclusion in the site's capital plans.
- Maintain project schedules, provide regular project reporting, and deliver projects leveraging a collaborative team approach.
- Lead the capital aspects of 'New Product Development' projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Degree preferred, or 5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing role with a High School Diploma or GED can be accepted in place of a degree.
ExperienceRequires three to five years of experience in a production environment and has demonstrated the capability to design and deliver mechanical solutions to support operations and resolve outstanding issues.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Ability to problem-solve at a high level, leveraging structured problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to collect and assess data, translate data, and form actionable solutions.
- Ability to lead teams as well as be a good team member on large capital projects.
- Good project management skills and the ability to ensure the application of technologies across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills.
- Proven success in recognizing business needs and creating and implementing technology solutions.
General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move about an office.

CompensationNational Target Base Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $.
For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $88,000.00 - $, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.
