Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Checker in San Fernando. The Checker reports to the Front End Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, processing sales accurately and efficiently, operating the cash register, and safeguarding company assets.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker maintains outstanding customer service per company standards, processes sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performs cash register operations, safeguards company assets, bends, stands, stoops for prolonged periods, and performs other physical functions such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
