Chemist Position
Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and health sciences industry, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting laboratory testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive communication, and a strong commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $28/hr – $38/hr Duration: 6 months
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Perform testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate, and bulk products to determine identity, purity, quality, strength, and composition.
- Support peer data review and investigational testing as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Conduct physical, chemical, and instrumental testing on raw materials, bulk, and finished products to support QC release, investigations, and method development.
- Document all raw data and results accurately in accordance with Pharmavite Standard Methods and cGMP guidelines.
- Perform scheduled calibration of laboratory instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What's Needed?
- A four-year college or university degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related science.
- Basic knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry laboratory operations.
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as auto titrators, balances, UV, FTIR, HPLC, GC, and ICP is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining clear communication.
