Accounting Manager

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead the GL accounting function and the month-end close process.

• Own the global close process including intercompany transactions, parent company accounting and consolidation.
• Manage the end-to-end preparation of financial statements, guide monthly flux analysis, and provide leadership with clear, actionable management reporting.
• Optimize the month-end close process to increase efficiency, reduce close timelines, and strengthen review controls.
• Lead audit-readiness efforts for the company’s first financial statement audit, including drafting policies and memos, completing reconciliations, and documenting key processes.
• Support corporate income tax, business tax, and sales & use tax filings, along with ongoing compliance requirements.
• Manage liquidity activities by preparing cash flow forecasts, ensuring bank accounts are properly funded, and maintaining GAAP‑compliant investment reporting.
• Act as Net Suite administrator and manage the configuration, maintenance and optimization of the system to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Initiate the design and implementation of automation and process improvements to support the company's growth and evolving business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA certification.
• 6‑8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a combination of public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, with both practical application experience and a proven ability to document technical accounting policies.
• Experience operating within high‑growth startup environments; background in SaaS, AI, or tech sectors is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of overseeing audit readiness efforts and managing inaugural audit cycles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for regular collaboration with internal leadership and external partners.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment.
• Strong experience with accounting systems such as Net Suite and demonstrated capability with automation and integration tools.
