Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM | Hybrid Schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote!)

Pay: $38-$42/hr

Are you a detail-driven payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Payroll Accountant to join our compassionate, community-based healthcare organization that empowers older adults to live with dignity and independence.

If you are a highly organized, analytical professional who can manage full-cycle payroll while supporting audits, reporting, benefits administration, and compliance with federal and state regulations – we want to speak with you!!

What You’ll Do:
  • Process and validate biweekly payroll with precision and accuracy
  • Manage payroll system updates including new hires, changes, and terminations
  • Perform monthly payroll close, reconciliations, accrual reviews, and GL journal entries
  • Maintain timekeeping systems including time clocks and staff access
  • Support benefits administration in partnership with HR
  • Compile documentation for external audits (DOL, Workers Comp, 403(b), annual audits)
  • Prepare and distribute annual W-2s
  • Assist employees with payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare government contract reporting as required
  • Support special projects and additional payroll/accounting initiatives
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience with major vendors such as ADP, UKG, and Oracle (Required
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish (Preferred)
  • Experience with Ulti Pro Payroll and Time Management (or similar systems)
  • Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
