Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant for one our customers located in Downtown San Francisco, CA. This position is mostly in-office except for every Friday. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and will be main responsible for supporting the day to day accounting and financial activities and be heavily involved in the monthly, quarterly and annual close, and assist with additional projects as assigned.

• Responsible for leading the month-end close activities including preparation of schedules, accruals, and preparation of financial reports
• Prepare and adjust journal entries for multiple entities and currencies
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and account reconciliation across multiple systems
• Manage intercompany transactions, revaluations, and consolidations across international subsidiaries
• Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• Software experience with Net Suite would be preferred
• Industry experience in an entertainment environment would be a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits (journal entries, reconciliations, accrued expenses)
• Ability to work effectively in a team, manage workload, and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communications (verbal & written)
• Team player, self-starter, quick learner, and deadline driven
• Attention to detail, problem-solver, and organized
• Experience:
  
  5 years of progressive accountant experience (Senior Accountant, Senior General Ledger Accountant)
