Tax Senior

A growing San Francisco public accounting firm is expanding its Private Client team and is hiring a Tax Senior to support a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and investment structures.

This is not a back-office preparation role. You’ll be involved in planning discussions, reviewing more complex returns, and building direct relationships with clients.

• Preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Supporting tax planning and advisory engagements
• Developing a strong understanding of client structures and long-term goals
• Communicating directly with clients and responding to technical questions
• Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
• Staying current on federal and California tax developments

• 2–5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Exposure to high-net-worth individuals or closely held businesses preferred
• CPA / EA licensed or actively pursuing
• Someone who takes ownership and wants to grow beyond pure compliance

The team works with entrepreneurial clients across a range of industries, so commercial awareness and strong communication skills matter just as much as technical ability.
