Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Consultant Our client, a growing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager consultant to support core accounting operations during a period of change. This position is fully remote and expected to last 5 months. Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee month-end and year-end close processes Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables Supervise general ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor management Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies Analyze financial results and investigate variances as needed Support audit processes and provide required documentation Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams to improve processes Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and workflow efficiencies Mentor and support accounting team members as needed Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities, preferred Strong experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and accounts payable Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls Experience working with accounting systems or ERP platforms Strong Excel and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills CPA or public accounting background is preferred Compensation:
