AP/AR Specialist

We are looking for an AP/AR Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in San Francisco, California. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial activity, managing incoming and outgoing transactions, and keeping records organized and up to date. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with detailed financial information, handling payments carefully, and contributing to smooth bookkeeping processes.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Manage full AP cycle (vendor setup, coding, payments, expenses)
• Oversee AP systems (Ramp, Brex)
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and AP inbox
• Review expenses and credit cards for policy compliance
• Reconcile cash and AP-related balance sheet accounts
• Resolve vendor issues and improve P2P controls/processes

Accounts Receivable

• Handle full AR cycle (invoicing, collections, reconciliations)
• Track aging and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Maintain customer records and resolve billing issues
• Use tools to manage collections and track performance
• Support month-end close and AR-related reconciliations
