Accountant, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant

Account Clerk Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience in high volume accounting data entry (preferred)
• Able to work effectively with customers internal and external to the agency
• General knowledge of accounting practices including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliation and analysis
• Preferred intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Familiarity with accounting software (a plus)

• Enter classroom attendance into Center Track on a monthly basis
• Assist with daily bank deposits by copying supporting documents and ensuring all deposits are accounted for
• Mail monthly billing to each classroom on a monthly basis
• Mail sign‑in/out sheet to each classroom on a monthly basis
• Mail credit card receipts to parents after each transaction
• Maintain the finance department filing system, ensuring all documents have been posted and filed to the proper binder, filing cabinets, and boxes
• Maintain accounting and financial records according to agency policy
• Provide excellent customer service to all staff, clients, and contacts of the agency
