For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Revenue Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Location:
San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $224,000 – $358,000 annually
Responsibilities- Lead the global Revenue Accounting organization to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Own the accounting for all revenue streams, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Direct the revenue close process, including reconciliations and SEC reporting support
- Collaborate with leaders across departments to evaluate new products and initiatives
- Serve as the subject matter expert on revenue recognition for the company
- Drive continuous improvement of revenue accounting processes and internal controls
- Identify and implement AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- Experience in revenue accounting under ASC 606
- Public company experience with SEC reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across multiple functions
- Proven experience leading large accounting organizations through growth and change
