FP&A + Operations Analyst (Japanese/English Bilingual)

We are looking for a Japanese-English Bilingual FP&A + Operations Analyst for a San Francisco-based law firm serving mainly Japanese-speaking clients. This position is primarily to provide coverage during an employee's maternity leave (expected Aug 23 – Jan 23), with the possibility of converting to a permanent role after the initial assignment. This is a standalone, hands‑on position owning the firm's full‑cycle accounting (AP/AR, billing, payroll reporting, month‑end close) as well as client trust (IOLTA) accounting and outsourced bookkeeping for a portfolio of business clients.

The ideal candidate is a self‑directed accounting professional with strong Quick Books skills, solid reconciliation experience, and ideally, a background in law‑firm trust accounting and multi‑entity work.

• Internal Accounting:
  Full-cycle firm accounting (AP/AR, billing, payroll reporting, month‑end close).
• Client & Trust Accounting:
  Client trust (IOLTA) accounting and outsourced bookkeeping for business clients.

• Flexible hours / Full‑time or Part‑time
• Expected:
  Aug 23 – Jan 23

• In‑office (San Francisco, CA)
• at least a hybrid mix of one or two days in the office.
