Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a highly regarded and growing company to identify an Accounting Manager who will play a key role in supporting its continued expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process, improving processes, and working closely with leadership in a collaborative environment.

The Accounting Manager will oversee core accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and help build scalable processes as the company continues to grow.

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reporting packages, and variance analyses.
• Oversee general ledger activity and maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage key areas of day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, payroll‑related accounting, and intercompany activity, as applicable.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and business decision-making.
• Support the annual audit, tax compliance, and other external reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and automate manual accounting workflows.
• Help develop, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff as the team grows.
• Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience owning or leading the month-end close process.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Prior experience in a high-growth, multi-entity, or fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable being hands‑on while also thinking strategically about process improvement and scalability.
