Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant for a full-time, permanent position within our manufacturing industry. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the financial management of our organization, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and maintenance of the general ledger. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general ledger and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of budgeting and forecasting strategies to optimize financial performance and strategic position.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability and financial effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
• Lead and coordinate ad hoc financial projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business-related software.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory, principles and practices, and their application in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and financial reporting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
