Assistant Manager – Project Accounting

• Manage and coordinate project accounting activities within the business unit
• Maintain responsibility for project-level accounting tasks
• Lead, manage, and develop project accounting individuals
• Process and review project-related owner invoices, project costs, and owner and trade payments
• Review budgets, costs, commitments, and billings for financial accuracy
• Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, financial controls, and applicable accounting standards
• Drive process improvement initiatives and support implementation of changes

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
• 5–7 years of experience in project accounting, financial management, or a related field preferred
• 1–2 years of experience coordinating work or leading project accounting activities preferred
• Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (CCIFP) certification preferred

Demonstrates expertise in project accounting, financial management, and compliance with accounting standards. Proven ability to lead teams, manage project-level accounting tasks, and drive process improvements.
