Payroll Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage end to end payroll processing for multiple clients while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Respond to payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide exceptional support to employees and client stakeholders.

Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and data analyses to support accounting, benefits, and retirement plan administration.

Coordinate with benefit providers, retirement plan administrators, and internal teams to support payroll related activities.

Maintain accurate payroll records and oversee client deliverables while managing multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Requirements:

5+ years of payroll experience, including processing payroll for multiple clients or entities.

Strong experience with multi state payroll administration, payroll compliance, and wage and hour requirements.

Hands on experience with payroll platforms, particularly Paylocity and Rippling.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to perform reconciliations, reporting, and payroll analysis.

Proven ability to manage large volumes of work and balance competing priorities in a deadline driven environment.

Qualifications:

Previous consulting, outsourced payroll, or client service experience.

Prior experience supporting employee benefits, retirement plan reporting, and related payroll functions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a keen eye for identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies.

Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive professional who thrives under pressure and takes ownership of client outcomes.
