Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this individual will play a critical role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, annual audit, equity accounting, and continuous process improvement

.
The ideal candidate combines a strong technical accounting foundation with a passion for automation, operational excellence, and scalable processes. This role is defined for a high-performing accounting professional who is ready to develop into an Accounting Manager within the next few year

• Close
  Prepare and review monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and recurring en
  tries.
  
  Own assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed timely and accur ately.
  
  Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analyses and investigate significant vari ances.
  
  Own assigned areas of the GL, including fixed assets, prepaids, leases, accruals, intercompany activity, and other complex accounting areas.
  
  Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Company accounting pol icies.
  
  Own assigned components of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities while consistently meeting close dead lines.
• Equity Accounting
  Own the Company’s equity roll-forward sc
  hedules.
  
  Prepare accounting for stock options and other equity trans actions.
  
  Prepare monthly stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718.Partner with Legal, HR, equity administrator and Carta to ensure complete and accurate equity accounting records.
  
  Coordinate annual audit r Reporting
  Prepare the Company’s annual draft audited financial statements, including all required footnotes and supporting disclosures for manageme nt review.
  
  Prepare supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  
  Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards.
  
  Research technical accounting matters and document accounting co nclusions.
  
  Maintain accounting policies and technical accounting docu ations.
• Audit & Compliance
  Serve as primary contact for external auditors within ass igned areas.
  
  Prepare complete, accurate, and well-organized audi &t schedules.
  
  Respond timely to audit or requests.
  
  Assist with internal control documentation and audi

  Identify opportunities to automate manual account ing processes.
  
  Improve close efficiency and account ing workflows.
  
  Assist with ERP implementations, enhancements and financial systems optimisation.

  Partner closely with Revenue Accounting, Payroll, AP, AR, FP&A, HR, Legal , RevOPs and IT.Support financial activities, due diligence projects, acquisitions, funding, and other strategic initia ftives as needed.

  About You
  Bachelor’s degree in Acco
  unting or Finance.
  
  CPA preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA licensure will a lso be considered.
  4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a high growth technology-b ased SaaS company.
  2-4 years of Big Four public accounting experience is s trongly preferred.
  
  Strong knowl
  edge of U.S. GAAP.Experience supporting annua l external audits.
  
  Experience preparing audited financial stateme nts and footnotes.
  
  Technical accounting research and
  memo preparation.
  
  Experience with equity accounting and stock-based compe nsation (ASC 718).Experience maintaining equity re cords using Carta.
