Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of the largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Patient Services / Office Coordinator
.
* Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship *
* Duration: 18-week contract w/ possibility of extension *
- Onsite role.
- Work Schedule:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
- Scheduling patients for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
- Collect copays and prepare cash, check, and credit card transactions for delivery to Cashier in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate log of all transactions.
- Support Office Coordinator with insurance authorization, authorization tracking, and communication with therapists and patients regarding insurance requirements and limitations.
- Excellent customer service, excellent communication skills, patient phone call management, patient scheduling, front desk & back desk administrative office work, MS Word, Excel, Outlook experience.
- Preferably prior experience in a Physical Therapy clinic.
