Inventory Clerk

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in San Francisco, California. This long-term contract position involves managing and maintaining the textile sample inventory, ensuring seamless support for our design studio. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment and is passionate about organization and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and organize the textile sample closet, ensuring materials are labeled, stored, and easily accessible.

- Catalog new samples in the inventory management system, keeping records up-to-date.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the reordering of materials and samples as needed.

- Assist designers by sourcing and preparing sample sets for client presentations.

- Greet and interact with clients visiting the studio, providing a meticulous and welcoming experience.

- Receive and properly store incoming shipments of materials.

- Safely use ladders to access and organize items stored at higher levels.

- Provide support to the operations and design teams with various inventory and administrative tasks. Requirements - Previous experience in inventory management, office organization, or a related field is preferred.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Interest in textiles, design, or interiors is advantageous.

- Ability to lift boxes and use ladders to access high shelves.

- Proficient in using inventory or sample management software, with a willingness to learn new tools.

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
