The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification  positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $20.38 - $27.71 (Hourly Rate).

• Education High school graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical and dental terminology
• Five years experience as secretary (prefer candidate with billing experience)
• Must be able to understand written and verbal communications in English Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Typing speed of 55 words per minute and intermediate
• Command of computer technology essential including Microsoft Work, Excel and Power Point

• In good physical condition to meet the demand of an active position including extensive walking and standing, stooping and lifting

• prefer candidate with billing experience
