Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the immediate supervision of their respective BD&C Managers and Coordinators, and in collaboration with other business development colleagues, the Specialist is responsible for supporting strategic client development efforts for select U.S. offices. The Specialist assists with BD&C projects to support lawyers of these offices, including through client-facing events, civic and charitable sponsor ships, research and reporting, preparation for client meetings, and other activities, including administrative tasks that support client relationship expansion.
The Specialist expects to be both proactive and responsive to requests from global BD&C colleagues and lawyers in supporting these efforts.
- One (1) to two (2) years of professional services experience required; law firm experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting pay scale for this San Francisco position is $70,000 - $95,000.
