Overview
DGA is a 175‑person architecture firm with offices in Mountain View, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco. Since 1995, the firm has specialized in architecture, interiors and planning for the life sciences, higher education, healthcare, and mission critical sectors. The San Francisco office is a fast‑paced hub that requires a unique hybrid of high‑level administrative precision and proactive office hospitality.
We are looking for an Office Manager who views “no task as too small and no contract as too complex.” The Office Manager will be the face of the firm for clients and the backbone of the office for our architects.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to…)Act as a technical resource, assisting with the preparation of AIA Contract Documents, detailed contract completion and staffing reports.
Take personal pride in the physical environment—ensuring the “client‑ready” state of the office by managing everything from snack inventory to kitchen maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of AIA Contract Documents, letters of agreement, and complex spreadsheets.
- Support the lifecycle of architecture projects by assisting with construction documents, letter writing and reprographic orders.
- Own the “look and feel” of the office, regularly checking the reception and conference rooms, loading/unloading the dishwasher and ensuring the breakroom is clean and welcoming.
- Proactively manage and restock office and kitchen supplies to keep the team well‑supplied.
- Plan and execute everything from weekly catered staff meetings to large‑scale social parties and holiday events.
- Serve as the primary contact for property management and building maintenance to ensure peak facility efficiency.
- 5+ years of administrative experience (A/E/C industry experience is an advantage).
- Expert-level Google Workspace and MS Office skills. Extensive experience with Bluebeam and Deltek Ajera, and AIA Contract Documents preferred.
- Exceptional writing skills capable of drafting formal professional letters as easily as firm‑wide social invites.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑aware, and possessing the hospitality heart required to keep a physical office running smoothly.

The annual pay salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with qualifications.
