Receptionist – On Lok PACE
The Receptionist is responsible for triaging all incoming telephone calls to the main line, program security, and a variety of clerical and administrative functions that support daily operations.
Essential Job Functions- Answer the main telephone line for the On Lok PACE program.
- Direct calls to staff and provide information and assistance to callers.
- Maintain the lobby area in a neat, uncluttered, and safe manner.
- Help manage and supervise the arrival and departure of clients and visitors.
- Receive mail and deliveries, ensuring they are received timely and appropriately.
- Perform program security responsibilities including security camera monitoring, controlling access to the PACE program by Coronet housing residents, operating delayed egress alarm, and monitoring Wander Guard alerts for clients with wander‑risk behaviors.
- Use a variety of digital systems including electronic health record, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and more.
- Help various departments maintain reports, records, forms, etc.
- Support operational communications and assignments between Van Escorts, transportation team, Center Workers, the interdisciplinary team, and PACE leadership.
- Actively participate in and encourage actions that promote good public relations with participants, their families and friends, visitors, and the community.
- Perform all other reasonably related jobs as assigned.
- Ability to reach, bend and walk.
- Ability to comprehend complex written material and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate and speak clearly in English.
- High school graduate with at least 1 year of experience in customer service, clerical, or reception function.
- One year of experience with the elderly.
- Language capability – Cantonese required.
- Ability to type 50 words per minute accurately.
- Computer literate.
- Good oral and written English language skills.
- Flexibility and patience to work in a busy, fast‑paced team environment.
Range: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour.
