Job Description- Performs routine clerical duties including typing correspondence, records, and reports; maintaining student scheduling records, answering telephone and processing mail, must be proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office.
- Copies data and compiles records and reports.
- Operates office machines such as typewriter, adding, calculating, fax and duplicating machines.
- Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.
- Files documents and maintains filing system.
- Posts information to records.
- Answers telephone and answers questions concerning the organization or department, or refers persons to another source of information.
- May be required to relieve Receptionist and other staff.
- Follows all guidelines, policies, and procedures set forth by the Department of Labor and the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or General Education Diploma and one year related experience and/or training.
- Experience working with youth and adults ages 16-24 in an educational or training setting is preferred.
- Data entry experience.
- Familiarity and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
