Administrative Assistant / Lab Support Coordinator
- Contract 6 months with potential to convert or extend
- Full-time hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM - Pay range: $24–$26 per hour
- San Francisco, CA – fully on‑site
- Easily accessible via BART (Powell or Montgomery stations)
- Data entry and record maintenance
- Receive and log incoming mail and sealed packages
- Track and document materials received
- Assist with invoice processing
- Prepare kits for shipment via UPS and Fed Ex
- Answer phones and provide customer service support
- Communicate with vendors regarding deliveries and materials
- Administrative support for researchers and lab operations
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliability and professionalism
- Customer service skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow procedures and protocols
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- No specific software requirements – systems and processes can be trained
- Soft skills and dependability are more important than technical expertise
