Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid with the flexibility to be available as needed)
Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 base salary DOE + comprehensive benefits

About The Opportunity
A highly respected private family office is seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant / House Manager to serve as a trusted right hand to a confidential executive. This is an incredibly dynamic, high-trust role for someone who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same and enjoys bringing order, efficiency, and discretion to every aspect of an executive's personal and household operations.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, emotionally intelligent, and takes genuine pride in anticipating needs before they arise. You'll be empowered to create systems, solve problems independently, and ensure every detail of the executive's personal life and residences operates seamlessly.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of coordination for the executive's personal and household affairs.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple residences, ensuring every home is maintained to the highest standard.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, household staff, and service providers while maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Manage household projects, maintenance schedules, repairs, and preventative upkeep.
- Handle complex personal calendars, appointments, reservations, and scheduling.
- Coordinate domestic and international personal travel, including detailed itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and special requests.
- Plan and execute private dinners, family gatherings, celebrations, and special events.
- Run confidential personal errands and oversee high-priority personal projects from start to finish.
- Manage household inventories, purchasing, gifting, and procurement of specialty items.
- Track household budgets, expenses, invoices, and reimbursements with exceptional accuracy.
- Research vendors, travel destinations, services, and lifestyle needs while presenting thoughtful recommendations.
- Maintain organized records, household manuals, important documents, and digital filing systems.
- Anticipate needs before they arise and proactively solve problems with minimal direction.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in all interactions.
- 5+ years of experience supporting a high-net-worth individual, executive, family office, or private household.
- Proven experience managing complex personal operations, multiple priorities, and rapidly changing schedules.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- High emotional intelligence with excellent judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
- Naturally proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands‑on execution.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and modern productivity tools.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule and being available when priorities require additional support.
