Compensation

We are seeking a proactive and organized Workplace Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. In this onsite contract role (August 13 to August 28, 2026), you will serve as the primary on-the-ground support for office operations, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and hospitality-driven environment for employees and guests. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, excels at vendor coordination, and is passionate about creating positive workplace experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main on-site point of contact and “boots on the ground” for the San Francisco office.
- Oversee daily office operations, maintaining a clean, organized, and fully functional workspace.
- Coordinate vendors such as janitorial, facilities, food & beverage, and day porters to ensure high-quality service.
- Manage building security protocols, visitor access, deliveries, and other logistical activities.
- Support employee experience initiatives including onboarding, office events, and internal programs.
- Maintain strong communication across teams via Slack and other tools.
- Assist with office setup, process improvements, and the development of workplace playbooks/handbooks.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workplace operations, office coordination, or hospitality.
- Strong vendor management and logistical coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and professional presence, especially in a public-facing role.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented with the ability to operate independently.
- Experience with vendor relationships, event support, and process development.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in office operations or hospitality.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs).
- Experience using Slack or similar workplace communication tools.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and coordinate a variety of vendors and internal teams.
