Job Description & How to Apply Below

Korea Investment Partners is a leading venture capital platform with more than $5 billion under management, backed by one of Asia's largest financial groups. Over several decades we have helped build many of the region's best-known technology companies, and we invest today across AI, semiconductors, datacenter infrastructure, robotics, and deep technology.

KIP US is our U.S. investment arm, and it is where the platform is growing fastest. Our parent group has committed to expanding the U.S. business substantially over the next several years, and that ambition is backed by real capital rather than intention. What that means day to day is momentum. We are investing actively, raising, building new fund structures, and standing up the operating infrastructure to support all of it  is a genuinely energetic environment, and the person in this role will be at the center of it.

The

role

We are looking for someone to run the Office of the President — the President's time and priorities, and the systems and rhythms that keep a fast-growing investment business running smoothly. You will be the person who makes sure the operating side of the firm works, so that everyone else can focus on investing.

It is also a role with unique visibility. You will see the whole business, work alongside the President daily, and have a real hand in how the U.S. platform develops from here.

What you will do Support the President
  • Own the calendar, including scheduling across Pacific and Korea time zones
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including regular trips to Korea
  • Prepare for investor meetings, portfolio company visits, board sessions, and visiting guests
  • Help manage correspondence and follow through on what comes out of meetings
Run the office
  • Manage relationships with our vendors and service providers — lease, insurance, IT, and professional services
  • Administer our systems and keep access and records in good order
  • Track corporate filings, registrations, and renewals
  • Coordinate and organize office activities - team events, off-sites, and visits
  • Document how things are done, so the business runs on written process rather than memory
  • Oversee stock of office supplies
  • Greet visitors at office
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound office mail
  • Support in scheduling meetings, interviews and transport
Work with our parent company
  • Prepare and file approval requests and reports, and see them through the group's process
  • Keep track of reporting deadlines and approval thresholds
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for colleagues at the parent company, and host them when they visit
Look after the team
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits, and on-boarding with our outside providers
  • Keep employment records and time and leave tracking accurate and current
  • Support and develop one part-time colleague on the operations side
  • Provide a second set of eyes on processes that would otherwise rest with one person
Is this the right role for you?

We would rather describe the work plainly than have it come as a surprise. People who do well in a seat like this tend to recognize themselves in the following.

  • You like building rather than maintaining. Much of the operating foundation here is still being put in place, and you would be the one putting it there.
  • You enjoy range. One week might be preparing for an investor meeting and hosting visiting colleagues; another might be negotiating a vendor contract or getting the office ready for an important day. The same person does both, and both matter.
  • You are drawn to operations as a craft. We treat this as a serious career track and will invest in it as one, with room to grow the function as the platform grows. It is not a route onto the investment team, and we would rather be clear about that up front.
  • You are comfortable that people matters are one part of the job rather than the whole of it.
  • You are happy working hands-on. At this stage the same person often designs a process and then runs it, and for the right person that is the appeal rather than the drawback.
What we are looking for
  • Professional written and spoken English
  • Professional written Korean at formal business register, comfortable drafting corporate documents
  • Strong…
