Variable weekly schedule to be established by supervisor. Positions may be in-person, hybrid, or remote. Flexible schedule depending on class schedule.

BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:

All potential Federal Work Study Student Assistants must be approved for and awarded Federal Work Study funding via the Golden Gate University Financial Aid Office.

GGU Financial Aid Office maintains a pool of qualified individuals who would like to provide administrative assistance or community service as a Federal Work Study Student Assistant. At this time there may not be an immediate vacancy, but candidates may provide their application to this posting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Serve as Federal Work Study Student Assistant, on campus administrative assistance.

Some functions may include:

* Data entry

* Receiving and distributing mail

* Answering phones

* Provide back-up for front office functions

* General office support including filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying

* Other duties as required

2. Serve as Federal Work Study Student Assistant, off campus community service.

* Job Responsibilities and job descriptions will be provided by the off-campus agencies.

* Community Service position includes reading tutor for children in a reading tutoring project that serves the community.
