California People Search is partnering with an established venture capital firm in San Francisco to hire an experienced Executive Assistant
.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has previously supported Partners, Managing Directors, or senior executives within a venture capital firm and enjoys working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, polished, proactive, and comfortable managing traditional executive support responsibilities while also contributing to firm events, marketing initiatives, and special projects.
Responsibilities- Provide high-level executive support to senior leaders/Partners
- Manage complex and frequently changing calendars
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries
- Schedule internal and external meetings with portfolio companies, investors, founders, and other stakeholders
- Prepare executives for meetings and ensure appropriate materials and information are organized in advance
- Coordinate and assist with firm events, dinners, conferences, offsites, and other gatherings
- Partner with the team on marketing initiatives, communications, and firm-related projects
- Assist with presentations, meeting materials, correspondence, and other administrative needs
- Manage expenses and related administrative processes
- Anticipate executives' needs and proactively resolve scheduling or logistical issues
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Support additional firmwide and special projects as needed
- Prior Executive Assistant experience within a venture capital firm is strongly preferred
- Experience supporting Partners, Managing Directors, Founders, or C-level executives
- Excellent calendar management and travel coordination skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Professional, polished, and confident interacting with senior-level stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift quickly
- Proactive and resourceful with strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and discretion
- Interest in contributing beyond traditional executive support, including events, marketing, and special projects
This position offers the opportunity to become an integral member of a collaborative venture capital team and work closely with senior leadership. The successful candidate will have significant exposure across the firm and will play an important role in keeping executives, meetings, events, and broader firm initiatives running smoothly.
