DataSF runs the City’s open data program and the Unified Data Platform (UDP), the shared space where departments build, manage, and use trusted data together. Our work supports citywide priorities such as permitting, street coordination, and public safety. We are a small team with a citywide mandate, and we are hiring for roles that will help the platform grow well and serve more departments.

The Data Enablement Operations Analyst will be part of our data enablement practice, working closely with the Enablement Principal, who sets the strategy for how departments adopt and use the platform. This position will execute that strategy day‑to‑day. Much of this work happens inside partner departments: sitting with analysts, learning how their work actually functions, helping them get productive on the platform, and bringing learnings back to the team.

Over time, we expect the Data Enablement Operations Analyst to automate repetitive workflows so routine tasks run independently and the team’s focus stays on supporting departments.
