Job Description
We are seeking skilled, dedicated Service Technicians to join our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality automotive services. You will collaborate with customers and colleagues to identify issues, suggest solutions, and complete repairs efficiently and accurately. This role offers a fast-paced environment where your expertise and attention to detail directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the success of our service department.
Core Skills and Services- Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues
- Timing belts and related services
- Clutch and transmission replacements
- Complete brake services
- Full suspension services: CV joints, Drive Train services
- Power steering service
- Oil and filter service
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical components.
- Identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately to determine necessary repairs and replacements.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure vehicle longevity.
- Utilize specialized tools and computer systems to carry out repairs and updates in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Maintain comprehensive service records and document all work performed clearly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, recommend repairs, and outline service timelines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Minimum 2-4 years of proven industry experience as a full-service Service Technician or Mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Must possess the necessary tools and equipment for the position of an automotive Service Technician
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
- Ability to move and lift to 60 pounds
- Ability to meet company requirements, including a successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
