Hockey Stack is an Applied AI company on a mission to automate sales, marketing, and customer success for B2B companies. We build the most complete and accurate picture of the B2B buyer by integrating with every tool your team uses, partnering with third-party data providers, and deploying custom AI research agents. We use this data to power applications that automate high-value, high-complexity workflows across the go-to-market and revenue teams.

Our core products include:

• Marketing Intelligence - instantly answers questions like "What led to that sudden drop in pipeline?"
• Account Intelligence - surfaces next-best actions to help reps move target accounts toward conversion

Since launching in January 2023, we've come through Y Combinator, raised a $26M Series A led by Bessemer. We're growing 3× year-over-year, have hit multimillion ARR, and process over 60 TB of GTM data monthly. Based at our San Francisco HQ, we operate fully in-person, move fast and hire people who are ready to win.
Your Mission

Hockey Stack is growing fast - with 3× revenue in the past year, a breakout product, and customers scaling just as quickly. We're hiring a Strategy and Operations Principal / Manager / Associate to support our Special Projects team. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you'll help run core processes, drive strategic initiatives, and directly shape how we scale.

What You'll Do

• Take on the company's highest-leverage problems across product, operations, strategy, and go-to-market.
• Own critical initiatives end-to-end: define the problem, run deep analysis, make clear recommendations, and drive execution.
• Operate with extreme range and ownership: Build and optimize scalable processes to continue Hockey Stack's hyper-growth
• Explore and define which projects the team should prioritize, and set a timeline to reach goals quickly

What We're Looking For

• Background in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or strategy (required)
• Solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• Ability to break complex problems into smaller ones
• Low-ego, high-output teammate who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments
• Proficient in working with data
• Excited about in-person work, 5 days per week in San Francisco

As part of our San Francisco, California-based team, the on-target earnings range for this role is $110,000- $180,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
