Business Development Manager Corporate & Financial Institutions

Full‑time, exempt, hybrid role based in Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Overview

Business Development Manager – Corporate & Financial Institutions for client growth in a professional services environment.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in professional services marketing and business development.
  • Demonstrated success in business development strategy, execution, and measurement.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives with a proactive, results‑driven mindset.
  • High level of accountability and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Previous law firm or legal services experience.
  • MBA or JD.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with website management, databases, and knowledge management tools.
  • Experience supporting corporate, tax, or financial services practices.
What You Will Be Doing – Tech Breakdown
  • CRM and marketing databases.
  • Proposal and pitch development tools.
  • Website and digital marketing platforms.
  • Data and reporting tools for performance tracking.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Drive business development strategy and execution for corporate and financial services practices.
  • Partner with attorneys on client growth, pitches, and new business initiatives.
  • Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and client presentation materials.
  • Analyze market and performance data to support planning and reporting.
  • Manage client events, rankings submissions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Support lateral integration, attorney coaching, and BD team development.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professional standards across all work.
The Offer

Salary Range: $176,000 – $214,000 (based on experience level and location)
