Private Equity Associate

Our client is an early-stage AI company working with private markets investors to gather insights at scale and build conviction with human expertise. They currently serve multiple private equity funds globally.

Founded in 2025, the team is based in San Francisco, has 5 employees, and has raised $4M in funding. They are building at the intersection of AI and private equity — transforming how investors generate insights and make decisions.

We are hiring a Private Equity Associate to work directly with the founders and help build within the private equity space.

This is a rare opportunity to join a founding team, influence product strategy and company culture, and gain exposure across the full lifecycle — from sales to delivering measurable value for customers.

• 2+ years at a top‑tier management consulting firm (
  Bain & Company
  , McKinsey & Company
  , or Boston Consulting Group
  )
• Ideally 1–2+ additional years as a private equity associate
• Strong first‑principles thinker with high autonomy
• Deep interest in AI, private markets, and building from 0→1

• Partner directly with founders to design and refine core AI agent workflows
• Lead customer engagements end‑to‑end and increasingly own client relationships
• Contribute to product development and strategy using client‑facing insights
• Participate in sales processes to drive new client acquisition and recurring engagements
• Operate with high ownership in a fast‑moving environment
