AboutThe Role
We are seeking an experienced, high-impact, and strategic individual to join Open Table’s Global Partnerships team as a Senior Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership and management of one of Open Table's most strategic global partnerships, spanning both our B2B (restaurant) and B2C (diner) businesses. This is a high‑expectation role for a candidate who is comfortable with C‑suite level interaction and is skilled at both complex business development—negotiating and closing groundbreaking deals—and world‑class strategic partner management—successfully bringing those partnerships to life to accelerate company growth.
InThis Role, You Will
- Own the vision, strategy, and successful execution of a single, highly strategic, global partnership that is critical to Open Table’s growth.
- Over time, this role is anticipated to expand its scope to include the oversight and management of additional strategic partners, contributing to the continued growth of Open Table's global partnerships portfolio.
- Lead complex negotiations and contracting processes, focusing on deal structure and terms that maximize strategic value and growth for Open Table.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of partnership objectives.
- Act as the primary relationship owner, including regular interaction with C‑suite and senior leadership both internally and with the partner organization.
- Navigate ambiguous or complex partnership challenges, serving as a decisive problem‑solver to maintain momentum and achieve key metrics.
- Develop and manage the joint business plan, OKRs, and performance metrics for the partnership, providing regular, concise communications to senior management on strategy and results.
- Proactively anticipate and resolve complex, and sometimes difficult, partner issues while managing competing priorities to ensure long‑term partner health.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic partner management, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing highly complex, global partnerships.
- Demonstrated expertise in both the negotiation and closing of significant strategic deals, as well as the operational management and launch of those partnerships.
- Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills, with proven experience in C‑suite level communication and driving consensus across diverse, global teams.
- A strong ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments, coupled with a demonstrated capacity to solve complex, cross‑functional business and technical problems.
- Experience working with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop partnerships that deliver growth, brand exposure, and creative benefits for users.
- Demonstrated quantitative acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and performance metrics to drive strategic partnership decisions and growth.
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and strategic contract management skills.
