Strategy Associate - AI-Powered PE Diligence - SF

We're hiring a Strategy & Operations Principal for an early-stage AI startup in San Francisco — 5 people, $4M raised, founded 2025, already serving multiple private equity funds globally.

This is a founding team seat. You'd work directly with the founders to shape the product, own client relationships, and build the company from the ground up in the private equity space.

High autonomy. Real ownership. You'll lead client engagements end-to-end, design AI agent workflows, and drive new business — all from first principles.

• Partnering with founders to design and refine core AI agent workflows
• Leading customer engagements end-to-end and owning client relationships
• Contributing to product development and strategy using your client-facing insights
• Driving new client acquisition and recurring engagements
• Operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving, tight-knit team

• Experience in a top-tier management consulting or private equity/venture capital firm with a strong focus on commercial due diligence
• Exceptional analytical and structured thinking skills
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and deliver results
• High agency — you thrive in ambiguity and move fast
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
• Full-time, permanent
