Position Overview
As a Business Strategist Intern, you’ll work closely with the Business Models team to drive the future of Autodesk’s subscription plans. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct research and analysis to determine the strategies to address forward‑looking business challenges and drive company‑wide initiatives from pilot to launch.
Our team led Autodesk’s business model transformation from a traditional software business to a Subscription and SaaS business. In this role, you’ll continue that transformation by defining business requirements, managing change and delivering programs.
Responsibilities- Conduct analysis, benchmarking and research to inform usage‑based models
- Partner across key stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations and Engineering teams to drive execution of key initiatives
- Develop accurate project plans and drive execution, including customer‑facing pilot programs
- Must be currently enrolled in a full‑time Masters or MBA degree program with an expected graduation date in 2027
- Familiarity with subscription models
- Experience conducting research or benchmarking on tech software
- Detail oriented with the ability to tailor communications appropriately based on audience
- Ability to nurture relationships at all levels while having a customer focused / service‑oriented mindset
- Familiarity with usage‑based / consumption models
- Prior working experience through internship, hackathons, or consulting
The 2026 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 18 – August 7 or June 15 – September
4). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Our internships align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote and hybrid work preferences.
Transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
