MBA Summer Intern - Strategy & Operations; PE Operator Track

World Golf Tour is seeking an MBA Summer Intern to work directly with the Chief of Staff on high-impact strategy and operations projects. This internship is designed to mirror a private equity portfolio operations / value creation experience – ideal for MBAs exploring the PE operator pathway after business school. This role is structured as a standalone summer internship and is not designed to convert to full-time employment.

• Market opportunity sizing and strategic expansion analysis across select geographies
• Evaluation of new platforms, distribution channels, or product adjacencies
• GTM planning and investment prioritization frameworks
• Building executive-ready analyses, financial models, and strategy materials to inform leadership decision-making
• Supporting broader cross-functional initiatives tied to growth and operational efficiency

• Prior experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, strategic finance or growth roles
• Strong structured problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to build clear, executive-ready deliverables (slides + analysis)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  
  Full-time MBA students graduating Dec 2026 – Jun 2027

• The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $30.00.
• You must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role, at this time.
• The internship is flexible and can run for 12 weeks (40hrs / week) between May – September 2026.
• The internship can be remote or in-person (twice a week) in SF.
