Product Manager – Claims & Payments
Product Manager – Claims & Payments at Maven Clinic ensures members, providers, and employers are paid accurately and on time. The role is early‑career, hands‑on, with ownership of the claims and payments product surface.
Responsibilities- Own the Claims & Payments product surface: claims adjudication logic, payer and employer reconciliation, payment operations tooling, and provider payments.
- Partner with engineering and operations to define requirements, write specs, and ship improvements to claims processing workflows.
- Instrument and monitor claims and payments data, identify errors, and surface findings to the team.
- Work closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Payment Operations to translate business requirements into product solutions.
- Support migration away from Alegeus, contributing to discovery, requirements gathering, and execution as the roadmap evolves.
- Learn Maven’s payments infrastructure end to end, becoming the subject‑matter expert.
- 2–5+ years of product, operations, or analytical experience, ideally in healthcare, fintech, or a complex B2B2C environment.
- Curiosity about how payments and claims systems work; a willingness to become an expert.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable in data, identifying patterns, and communicating findings.
- Detail orientation; precision required in claims and payments work.
- High ownership mentality; follow through and flag issues early.
- Clear written and verbal communication; translate complex system behavior into plain language.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted workflows a plus.
Base salary range: $160,000 – $185,000 per year. Equity and benefits are also provided.
