Director Of Product, Business Accounts

As Director of Product, Business Accounts, you will lead the product experience for one of Airwallex's most important and visible customer problem spaces: how businesses manage money across accounts, transfers, FX, reporting, and Airwallex Pay. This role is focused on defining the future of how businesses manage and move money globally. You will lead the product experience across Business Accounts and adjacent money movement workflows, bringing together powerful financial capabilities into experiences that feel simple, intuitive, and delightful for customers.

This is an opportunity to shape one of Airwallex's most strategic product surfaces and establish a new benchmark for modern financial operations software.

You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Product, and cross-functional partners across GTPN and Financial Platform to create a simpler, more unified Business Accounts experience. You will help shape how customers understand and move between account types, navigate key financial workflows, and trust Airwallex as their global financial operating system.

This role is based in San Francisco. For an exceptional senior candidate, scope may expand over time into adjacent product areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end product experience for Business Accounts, spanning core customer workflows such as accounts, transfers, FX, reporting, and Airwallex Pay.
  • Define the vision and product for the future of Business Accounts, creating a world-class experience that helps businesses manage and move money with clarity, confidence, and ease. You will bring together account management, transfers, FX, reporting, and payments into an intuitive, elegant, and highly cohesive customer journey that raises the bar for financial operations software.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, including the engineering counterpart for this domain, and work cross-functionally across GTPN, Financial Platform, Yield, and related teams to turn platform complexity into simple customer-facing workflows.
  • Drive product decisions across key Business Accounts surfaces including account overview, transfers, activity and reporting, settings, alerts, and mobile experiences.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by translating friction in financial operations workflows into clear product priorities, roadmap decisions, and execution plans.
  • Build alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and go-to-market stakeholders to deliver high-quality experiences at speed in a complex global environment.
  • Champion a high bar for product quality, usability, and craftsmanship, partnering closely with Design and Engineering to create experiences that customers love and trust.
  • Shape how Airwallex brings together its expanding portfolio of financial products into a unified customer experience, helping businesses seamlessly manage cash, payments, yield, and future financial services through a coherent account-centric model.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years product management experience in high-growth technology companies, ideally across fintech, payments, treasury, financial infrastructure, or complex B2B SaaS.
  • Experience owning customer-facing product areas with meaningful UX complexity, especially where multiple workflows or systems need to feel seamless to the end user.
  • Bring exceptional product judgment, a strong sense of customer empathy, and a passion for craftsmanship. You care deeply about creating elegant experiences, sweat the details that matter, and know how to turn complex systems into products that feel intuitive and delightful.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner deeply with engineering teams on technically complex products and translate backend or platform complexity into intuitive customer experiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and operational stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior leaders across multiple teams and domains.
  • A track record of building or improving products used by globally operating, multi-entity, or…
