Senior Principal, Executive Operations

Hybrid 4 Days a week on-site in San Francisco, CA

Our client seeks a Senior Principal, Executive Operations to partner with an Executive Vice President and drive alignment, execution, and operational excellence across a large technology-focused organization. The role functions similarly to a Chief of Staff and blends business operations, strategic planning, executive communications, organizational leadership, and program execution while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Portfolio teams.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $97.00 to $107.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the EVP to shape organizational strategy and priorities.
  • Establish and lead the executive leadership team's operating model and cadence.
  • Drive alignment, accountability, and execution across strategic initiatives.
  • Act as liaison between executive leadership and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Lead long-range planning and strategic roadmap alignment.
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Drive capital allocation decisions for highest-priority initiatives.
  • Facilitate headcount planning, approvals, and workforce prioritization.
  • Lead complex cross-functional programs spanning Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Operations.
  • Improve organizational effectiveness and operating rigor.
  • Support operating model evolution and organizational transformation.
  • Advance culture, engagement, and team effectiveness initiatives.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, strategic updates, and business reviews.
  • Lead town halls, leadership communications, and strategic readouts.
  • Create clear narratives aligning business strategy, technology investments, and priorities.

Experience Requirements:

  • 12+ years in business operations, program management, strategy, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting C-suite or EVP-level executives.
  • Background in Chief of Staff, Executive Operations, Strategic Planning, Business Operations, or Executive Advisor roles.
  • Ability to operate at strategic and execution levels.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Operations.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills with influence without authority.
  • Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, portfolio management, and resource planning.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with executive presence and discretion.
  • Preferred: experience in technology, media, advertising, platform, or digital product organizations.
  • Preferred: experience driving transformation or operating model redesign.
  • Preferred: product-minded approach and ability to engage with technical leaders.
  • Preferred: experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and change management.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range. W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
